The people behind these articles aren't necessarily writers. They are students with an interest or an opinion--or both. They are Oxy students and professors, but that doesn't mean non-Oxy people are discouraged from contributing. You also shouldn't fret if you aren't a writer. As editors, we make it a personal goal to enable anyone to write for us and strive to help out non-writers, budding writers, and full-fledged Hemingways.
