Kai Allen
Ditz embodies the modern woman from two perspectives: it addresses her in her quotidian element, in her everyday cares and triumphs. However, it also encompasses the ideals that unite women (and men) in the struggle for complete equality among the sexes. Ditz is a symbol of the humanism we are striving to actualize.

Donny Baarns
A ruthless rebellion against modern superficiality and traditional spelling.

Natalie Bograd
Taking back a term that has been used to refer to women as stupid or airheaded...ditz is a way of looking at being female with a bit of an attitude, rebelling against traditional definitions of gender.

Elizabeth Cutler
Ditz means thinking critically about the community in which we live--whether that's Oxy, Los Angeles, the U.S., or the world. Ditz is not about playing dumb--it's about being smart.

Caroline Heldman
Ditz is a magazine that challenges damaging gender notions in fantastic and throughful ways.

Emily Jensen
Ditz means a scatterbrained idiot, almost always female. If you're reading this you're probably not one of them.

Britt Karp, Natsuko Kiyoshi, and Lauren Redford
For us, DITZ means accepting every kind of woman - the sexually experienced, the "girly girl," the rejecter of all things feminine. You may disagree with their actions, but when it comes down to it, judging other women will get us nowhere. Each and every woman is unique and wonderful and instead of taking time to try and find their flaws, it would be much more fulfilling to use that time to find their beauty.

Rachel Keylon
What Ditz means to me is that I can be proud to be a woman just as I am. Ditz also means that I can help make other women happy with who they are.

Megan Locks
Ditz is shattering misconceptions for men and women that are placed in our minds by media.

Karina Lyons
A collection of works celebrating humans and individuals--not tied to stereotypes of gender, race, ethnicity, or any inequality... a breath of fresh air to current topics in popular culture and de-constructing life according to our society.

Molly McLaughlin
Ditz: a word more commonly used as a weapon against women, now a magazine working to tear down the walls that oppress them.

Emma Pribnow
Ditz is more like the anti-ditz. It's a magazine meant to address important subjects of our time, critically analyze societal issues, while at the same time providing fun, light-hearted reading. It is empowering yet entertaining.

Emily Warren
Ditz provides us with a forum to discuss issues that are generally ignored by other media sources. It empowers women in both creative and intellectual ways.
